Rastko Uzunović is a teacher and multi-instrumentalist from Belgrade Serbia. He studied at the Belgrade Academy of Music where he got his bachelors in classical, clarinet performance and masters in chamber music. As a young student he won over 40 prizes as a soloist and member of ensemble in international competitons. During his studies at the Academy, he became interested in contemporary music, jazz, experimental, improvised music and particularly in the traditional music of the Balkans.

Symphony orchestras, rock bands, big bands, wind bands, collaborations with young composers, performances with actors, Byzanthine choir, traditional music ensembles, workshops, seminars… resulting in very broad musical experience. Today, as a teacher he focuses on developing each student’s specific learning style and musical affinity. As a musician, he is a member of two of Belgrade’s most eclectic bands, Naked and Fish In Oil, where he develops two very different approaches to music and improvisation.
